Running as fast as you could out of the room, you hear something up ahead that seems out of place. The school had been so quiet all day, and now it sounded as loud as a parade! "Where is that coming from?" you ask yourself. Carefully you come to a stop and abandon your return to the classroom in search of the noise. Suddenly a door opens ahead of you. "There you are!" It was Mrs. Applebee. "We were worried about you, Lily and Noah are already back. And everyone is playing outside." Surprised, you look out at the snow-covered playground and sure enough there was Lily, Noah, Jimmy-Robin and the rest of your class was outside having a snowball fight. You quickly hurried outside to join in the fun. Silently, you wonder how Lily and Noah got back so quickly. You hurry over to play with them and plan on asking them how they got outside to play so quickly on your way home from school. After all, this was a pretty eventful day at school today.
