You decide to stay with Lily and listen to the school nurse talk about the power outage. She explains that a squirrel had gotten caught in the school's main power line. She then continues to explain that Mrs. Applebee had been called out of your class room because she is an animal expert. It turns out the squirrel was still alive, but had been injured to a significant extent. The janitors apparently had been in a frenzy, because last week one of them had been bitten by the vary same squirrel. They did not want anything to do with the problem, and therefore were pacing the hall all worked up. Lily laughed and said the whole school was run by dumb people. You did not really agree with this, but laughed at the whole thing anyway. A couple weeks later, the "electric squirrel" as it was later named, became the school mascot. Every school event, you cheered on the "Electric Squirrels." This was definitely a day you would not soon forget.
