You and Lily have made the quick decision to hide in the lockers down the hallway. You squeeze into the cramped space and the locker door swings shut. You hold your breath as the footsteps pound closer and closer, becoming louder and louder. Finally, they begin to fade away and you let out a long, heavy sigh. What a relief! Suddenly, a blast of light shines through the cracks of the locker door and piercing screams fill the hallway. You throw open the locker door, afraid of what you will find. The power has returned and students rush out of classroom doors, shouting and giggling. The screams were not of fear, but of joy. SNOW DAY!
